Your packing guide.
Where you work.
Bring TCS-i packing visualisations into your existing workflow. Choose the browser extension for Chrome or Edge, or the Windows companion for desktop WMS software.
Version 1.0.1 · ZIP, 14.0 KB · Desktop Chrome & Edge
Two ways to view your packing plan.
Both use your existing TCS-i packing links. Choose the option that matches how your team uses its WMS.
Choose the right companion for your WMS.
Download the browser add-on or Windows installer, then follow the guide for your WMS.
TCS-i Packing Visualizer
One download. Both browsers.
This ZIP uses manual installation with Developer mode and Load unpacked.
TCS-i Packing Viewer
For your Windows desktop WMS.
Select a WMS window and view supported packing links in a separate companion window. Settings provides configuration and fallback loading options.
Set up your Windows companion.
Install TCS-i Packing Viewer and connect it to your WMS window.
Download the Windows installer
Download TCS-i-Packing-Viewer-Setup-1.0.1-x64.exe using the Windows download button. This single setup file includes the app and .NET runtime.
Run setup
Double-click the downloaded file, accept the displayed Microsoft runtime terms, then choose Install. Keep your internet connection available: setup automatically downloads and installs WebView2 if it is missing. The app installs for your current Windows user.
Open the app and your WMS
Choose Launch TCS-i Packing Viewer when setup finishes, or open the desktop or Start menu shortcut. Open your WMS application too. The TCS-i viewer origin is already included, so no initial domain configuration is needed.
Select your WMS window
Open your desktop WMS, choose Select WMS window, then select or double-click its window in the list. Bring the selected WMS to the foreground so the app can read its exposed text.
Open a packing recommendation
When a unique valid TCS-i packing link is confirmed, a separate viewer appears beside your WMS. Automatic updates do not take keyboard focus. Confirm the displayed Request ID matches the recommendation before submitting feedback.
A few things to have ready.
A Windows computer
Use Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit (x64). Your WMS needs to expose readable window text containing a valid TCS-i packing link.
Runtime handled by setup
The .NET runtime is included. Setup detects Microsoft WebView2 and automatically installs it when missing. You do not need a separate runtime download.
A working connection
Internet access is needed to install WebView2 when missing and to load the packing viewer. Your organisation must allow the installation; ask IT if it is blocked.
Back to your packing workflow.
Keep the selected WMS in the foreground and use the companion viewer beside it.
Follow your WMS window
Choose the window once while it stays open. To remember it for later launches, choose Settings → Use selected WMS as default → Save. Reselect it after it closes or is reopened if no unique default matches. Automatic reading depends on the software’s accessibility support.
View and review the packing plan
Press F8 to interact with the viewer and F9 to return to your WMS. Always on top is enabled by default. Use Full overview to open the complete packing guide in your browser. In automatic mode, a successful scan with No link hides the viewer; a confirmed valid link shows it again.
Setup could not install WebView2. What should I do?
Check your internet connection and run the same TCS-i setup file again. Setup detects an existing runtime and installs it automatically when missing. If company policy blocks this step, ask your IT team for assistance.
Windows or my organisation blocks the installer.
This release is unsigned, so Windows or company policies may display a warning or block installation. Contact your IT team or TCS-i support for an approved installation method. Keep your organisation's security protections enabled.
Will the desktop app work with every WMS?
Automatic reading depends on the text exposed by each Windows application. Some WMS interfaces cannot be read through UI Automation. Clipboard and paste modes provide a manual fallback; compatibility with a particular customer WMS must be verified.
What if several packing links are visible?
The app pauses rather than guessing which order is current. Use the link-selection or note-control options in Settings to narrow the source. A manual choice cannot confirm which WMS order is current, so check the Request ID.
Why did the desktop viewer disappear or pause?
In automatic mode, a successful scan with no link hides the viewer. Closing the selected WMS clears the automatic display. Unreadable content or multiple candidates pause interaction; bring the WMS to the foreground and confirm it shows one valid link.
The viewer will not load. What should I check?
Check your internet connection and that the link uses a trusted HTTPS origin. The TCS-i origin is already included. If the app reports WebView2 missing, rerun the setup file. Try Retry or open the link in your browser. Contact TCS-i if the problem continues.
Does the desktop app need the browser extension?
The desktop companion requires WebView2 Runtime and does not require loading the browser ZIP. Choose the extension for WMS pages in Chrome or Edge, and the Windows companion for desktop software.
Ready to install?
Download the Windows installer and keep this guide open.
